 TIMES ARE CHANGING
“ Come gather ’round people
Wherever you roam
And admit that the waters
Around you have grown
And accept it that soon
You’ll be drenched to the bone
If your time to you is worth savin’
And you better start swimmin’
Or you’ll sink like a stone
For the times they are a-changin’…”
(Bob Dylan)

Climate change will bring major upheavals. Animals, birds and people will have to adapt, sometimes migrating to other continents – a process that has already begun.
The African forest elephant (Loxodonta cyclotis) is now classified as Critically Endangered and the African savanna elephant (Loxodonta africana) as Endangered on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species™.
This horde of elephants symbolizes all migrants, past and future, who will no longer know where to find refuge on this earth.
